History

Generate is a regional collection of students and young adults that began gathering together in late 2007 simply to meet their desperate need for purpose, authenticity, and relevance in a changing world. God has consistently motivated, re-shaped, and developed the ministry to hopefully live with a pure heart and pure passion for God’s Word.

November 2007 Generate was the dream and prayer of a handful of staff from Crossroads Christian Church

December of 2007 Launched in the foyer of Crossroads Christian Church

February of 2008 Launched via viral campaign and moved into Crossroads’ main worship auditorium

September of 2008 Launched live video feed of Wednesday services.

December of 2008 Finished the year with 804 decisions for Christ and 182 baptisms

January of 2009 Completes first full year of ministry

May of 2009 Begins Passionate World Changer series defining hope for a generation

Fall of 2009 Launches Facebook campus via revolutionary Media Social technology provided by PlainJoe Studios

October of 2009 Launch of 2nd service to now offer a Wednesday option at both 6pm & 7:45pm

December of 2009 Second year of ministry ends with 2983 decisions for Christ and 976 baptisms
